There are at least 45 Muslim-run travel agencies in Singapore that mostly focus on facilitating Umrah, Hajj and general global travels with easy access to halal establishments. So the question we reflected on was — why does Muslim Travel Club have to be the 46th?
Will the community be value-added with our existence, or will it suffer from a lack with our absence?
Are you surrounded by other tourists more worried about photos & souvenirs than taking in the sights?
You have a desire to connect deeper to every new place and its people, but no idea how?
You are collecting memories and experiences with every trip, but you are no better a person when you return?
Muslim Travel Club was thus founded on this premise —
A Muslim should find the connection to Allah at the top of Swiss Alps just as he does in the lands of Haram.
Because why not? Isn’t Swiss Alps created by the same Lord who created the lands of Haram, and Who says the entire Universe exists as signs?

Because the Journey, is just as important as the Destination – if not more.
Diyanah is a traveller who has – through her own journeys, experiences & reflections – come to embrace a fuller meaning of the word “travel”.
From solo trips to group tours, from performing umrah to skydiving or heartfelt conversations with locals, Diyanah sees every travel experience and destination as potential for spiritual growth. She truly believes in the quote that travel isn’t about escaping life, but making sure life doesn’t escape us.
Through Muslim Travel Club, she hopes to provide such experiences for other travellers and build a spiritually empowered community together.
With over two decades of experience as a certified religious teacher, trained counsellor and active member of the community, Ustazah Kalthom remains open to learning from any new experience that comes her way.
It is this balance of deep knowledge and humility that Ustazah Kalthom brings to Muslim Travel Club as our Advisor, ensuring that all our asatizah and activities are based on firm principles while looking out for the needs of our fellow travellers.
